The Art of War

Army Jackets are a fall (winterish) must, I have basically live
in mine all season long. Although this trendy piece pairs perfectly with
all black for a chic and effortless look, it is also a little over-done. So I gave this look a little make-over by mixing bold graphic pints
with girly-glam accessories to switch things up!
Oh, and did you nottice my non-fashion accessory courtesy of Starbucks....
It's the most wonderful time of the year: red cup season!
Jacket: Vintage (obsessed with this one) // Dress: Modcloth (this one is darling!) // Bag: Coach (similar) // sunnies: Karen Walker (also here) // Arm Party: Francescas // Jcrew (similar + 50% off!) // Belt: J.crew

I love goodwill, if you're patient enough you can find some great stuff! One goodwill hunting trip a few years back, I snagged this Army Jacket and matching pants. Since the military trend is here to stay, I wear them separately all fall long! I love that the army green color works as a neutral: pair it with other neutrals, pump it up with a pop of color (Try red), or follow my lead and play with pattern! Comfy, Casual or even Classy... work this versatile jacket all season long! My jacket is not my only "thrifted" find: After realizing I do not own a normal sized black purse (what's wrong with me?) I stole this oldie from my mom's closet, sorry mom! I love my vintage version but they are few and far between, but don't fret Coach still sells a similar one here!

  1. I love sequins in all forms so thumbs up for the beanie/beret. I also like how the jacket looks against that dress
