i love a rainy day, but i like to do doom&&gloom the color me courtney way by brighten-up with a pop of color

i can't tell you how excited i was this morning when i woke up to rain, i could only think one thing: polka dot rain boots... polka dot rain boots!!!!

i wanted my new umbrella, rain boots && bow belt to be the stars of this outfit, so i kept the look basic with black to draw attention to these other areas.

 i've been wanting heeled rain boots for a while now (because what's more glam then heeled rain boots?) and stumbled across these perfect, polka dot, kate spade ones (exclusive to saks) this fall. then i fell in love all over again when i opened them christmas morning && couldn't wait to pair them with my new striped umbrella for a rainy day patterned party.
