I have to admit, I was not on board at first. It was so cold and dark here in San Francisco for so long, that neon's seamed too bright.. even for me! But now that it's warmed up, I too have warmed to this eye popping color trend.
For spring, we saw bright neon dresses & skirts, and enhanced looks with florescence accessories. So for this look I decided to dabble with these highlighter hues.
So the key to wearing neon is to think "anti-eighties" this will keep away from looking cheap & help you strive towards looking chic! Think back, in the 80's neon came in obnoxious fabrics and was often paired with other bright colors, crazy silhouettes and over-the-top accessories. You can avoid repeating these historic fashion distress this by pairing your neon with neutrals: try all whites with color pop accessories for summer, or blacks and denim for fall.
