The 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards have come and gone, but the stars good and bad fashion choices for the night will live on forever!
The Good
Effortlessly Edgy
Amber Heard showed off her edgy side in Zac Posen. One of my favorite Stylists George Kotsiopoulos compared her to an Barbie with ever changing style and I couldn't agree more!
Grecian Goddess
The always stunning Viola Davis has been hitting it out of the park this award season, and her Sophisticatedly sexy Marchesa pick was no exception! Flawless!
Bow Baby
The always talented Amber Riley looked beautiful in a bowed Badgley Mischa dress that fit her like a glove! This look was perfect for a less formal affair like the SAG awards and showed off her bubbly personality with a punch of sass.
The Bad
Island Fever
Although her movie the Descendants was based in Hawaii, does not justify Shaleen Woodley's choice to look freaking in floral in a L'Wren Scott gown.
Time Travel Tragedy
Gretchen Wren took a risk in a 1930's inspired L'Wren Scott that was overwhelmingly unflattering yet too boringly basic. I am always one to respect a good vintage pick, but I cannot simply get on board with this one.
Bondage In Balenciaga?
I am obsessed with comedy queen Kristin Wiig but I can only hope her addition of a seemingly S&M inspired collar to her previously gorgeous Balenciaga gown, is a joke!
The Boring
The Beautiful Jessica Chastain's Calvin Klein dress failed to impress but a simple addition could have moved her to the best dressed section!
From Borring to Bombshell
What a difference a necklace can make! All Jessica needed was to add a little bling to sparkle on the runway the way she does on screen!
The Colorful Couple
Emily Blunt in Oscar De La Renta and John Krasinski in a complimentary Midnight blue tux were the brightest and best dressed pair of the night!
The Ugly
Hott Mess Heather
I, more than anyone, hate to bash Dance Diva Heather Moriss because I grew up competing (and usually loosing) against her in local dance competitions in Arizona. Since then, I have become her biggest fan and cheerleader in watching her bloom into the amazing entertainer she is today and truly believe Glee is just the beginning of her successful journey. Hopefully, she will leave poor fashion choices like this ghastly Masai Payan gown in the past as she continues into a bright future because here she, this normally gorgeous glee goddess just looks trashy landing her the title of worst dressed for sag awards 2012.
The Star of The Night
An Effervescent Emma
The continuously flawless Emma Stone looked flirty and girlie In Alexander McQueen and took home my crown for Best Dressed. This other Arizona native can do no wrong in my book! She is always taking chances and reinventing her style while remaining true to her incredibly attractive personality that continues to shine through! The best part for me is that although she is always giving us something new with her fashion picks, Emma is so inviting and personable that you always notice her first, and her impeccable style second. Well done Emma!
Sound Off!
