ahoy.

ahoy there, today's post is a nod to the nautical!
but since navy is such a key color for nautical nonsense, and since i don't usually wear navy, i do nautically a little different than the norm. instead of anchors && sailboats, I go pirate-esuqe...

alright matey, let's set sail.

looking for a simple summer outfit? look no further than your closet! take your favorite loose tee, knot it at the waist over a basic black skirt, add fun heels && a flower pin for a perfect pop of color!
outfit inspiration doesn't always have to be literal. no-one has to know you are dressing pirate-esque. I just paired black && white with bold stripes && pops of red to get the nautical-essence without going overboard. syncing a t-shirt with a side knot, is also a nice piratey touch that will make your waist look ity bitty!
oh, and did you nottice? captain waffles joined me on my sea-side adventure. he thinks that if you are willing to mix patterns, but are afraid of going overboard, you should stick to black && white!
